Founder, foundations, and a genuine reason for doing this

Meet Zoe

Coffee Lover · Dog Cuddler · Dad Joke Enthusiast · Compassionate Problem Solver

That’s me in a nutshell. With a cup of coffee in hand, I’m ready to take on any challenge, whether it’s a tricky problem at work or helping a friend through a tough time. I approach everything with heart, passion and a can-do attitude.

When I’m not busy solving problems, I’m probably snuggled up with my furry best friends. I care deeply for those around me, I believe in treating others how you’d want to be treated, and I reckon smiles are contagious. I love how different each person is, always try to see the best in everyone, and encourage the people around me to embrace their true selves and see how amazingly awesome they are.

How Confident Care Solutions came to be

Since relocating to Perth, WA, Zoe has been a support worker, a site coordinator for a multidisciplinary provider, a local area coordinator for the NDIS, and a support coordinator for a well-known national organisation. In 2020, she took a big step and started her own independent support coordination business, which grew quickly thanks to its values and heartfelt service.

During her career in the UK, Zoe studied criminology, social science and psychology while working as a live-in support worker -including supporting her grandfather to remain at home after he became an amputee and overseeing the agency that supported him.

As a support coordinator, she kept hearing about the bad experiences people were having with support providers - and knew it was time to make a change.

The solution was obvious - do things better

In March 2023, after spending time on research, preparation and formalising the company’s backbone - grounded in empowerment, integrity, communication, reliability and compassion - Confident Care Solutions was born. These principles guide everything, from service delivery to team culture.

Since becoming sole director, Zoe has appreciated the opportunity to step out from behind the scenes into a more visible part of the business - working directly with the team and participants. Zoe has big plans and is excited about the direction the business is heading.

Zoe is incredibly proud of the Confident Care team, who wholeheartedly share her vision of a values-based company built on integrity, authenticity, transparency and acceptance. She sees these values being naturally implemented across the team and passed on with passion to the participants they support.

No one goes unnoticed, and you’ll see that in the care we provide, the trust we build, and the feedback we hear every day.
